It has always been difficult for me to see the rise of all the players in a concised form in a tennis tournament. So I decided to create a zoomable sunburst diagram for it. A sunburst is similar to a treemap, except it uses a radial layout.

The innermost circle represents the champion of the tournament. The circle outer to it shows the players who have reached the finals and so on. You can hover over a player's arc to see which level(round) is it.

If you click on a particular arc it will zoom the sunburst to that particular level and will show you winners of the rounds below it. If you click the center-most circle at a zoomed in level it will zoom out by 1 level. If you click anywhere else on the page (outside the sunburst) it will zoom out to the outermost level (champion).

Also if you hover over any arc it gives you information about how that player reached the particular round. Basically it tells you who the player defeated in the previous round, the results of the previous round, how many more/less aces did the winner score and how many more/less errors did the winner commit.
