It was shutdown between 01/01/1974 and 31/12/1982. According to the SWS archived scaled ionospheric data book, a Cossor portable ionospheric recorder 7562C (Mark II) was in operation in 05/1966. according to the SWS archived Weekly Station Summary, there was an IPS 4B ionosonde in operation up to 28/04/1989.
