         <Description>The Salisbury Ionosonde station in a northern suburb in Adelaide, Salisbury, SA, Australia, had ionosondes since June 1960, (median data since October of 1962) to 12/1992. It was shutdown between 01/01/1974 and 31/12/1982. According to the SWS archived scaled ionospheric data book, a Cossor portable ionospheric recorder 7562C (Mark II) was in operation in 05/1966. according to the SWS archived Weekly Station Summary, there was an IPS 4B ionosonde in operation up to 28/04/1989. There were some clean digital ionogram data of IPS 5A/5C between 07/1991 and 12/1992 archived in SWS WDC.</Description>
